Minimum Required Prerequisites for DO371: Enterprise Kubernetes Storage with Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation
To successfully undertake the DO371 training and examination, students should have the following minimum knowledge and skills:
Familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift Administration: A basic understanding of OpenShift concepts and administration is beneficial. We recommend prior completion of Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration (EX280) or equivalent knowledge for roles related to Red Hat OpenShift cluster engineering or site reliability engineering (SRE).
Linux System Administration Knowledge: A foundational knowledge of Linux system administration is essential. We recommend completion of Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (EX200) or similar experience.
Basic Understanding of Storage Technologies: Familiarity with storage concepts such as disk types, Storage Area Networks (SAN), and Network Attached Storage (NAS) will aid in comprehending the course material effectively.
While it's not mandatory, having some exposure to Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform and the Red Hat OpenShift Administration III: Scaling Kubernetes Deployments in the Enterprise (DO380) course can further enhance your learning experience.
